Hot forging offers a wide variety of materials, ranging from unalloyed and alloyed steels to high-alloy and high-performance steels. Copper alloys can also be excellently formed.

Inline heat treatment

BY annealing
Controlled cooling from the forging temperature for uniform material structures.
BG/+FP annealing
Improved machinability without distortion during case hardening, ideal for case-hardening steels such as 16MnCr5 and 20MnCr5.
Bainitizing
Controlled cooling for defined strength and toughness, suitable for heat-treatable steels such as C45 and 42CrMo4.
Soft annealing (GKZ annealing)
Optimum microstructure for machining and hardening, especially for bearing steels such as 100Cr6.
