VHW's integrated heat treatment makes targeted use of forging heat to save energy, shorten throughput times and at the same time ensure hot-pressed blanks with outstanding material properties.

Reshaping instead of machining
By using hot forged formed parts as blanks for further machining, our customers have been able to achieve considerable savings potential. Hot-formed blanks from VHW are characterized by near-net-shape geometries that reduce material consumption and minimize the need for post-machining. This process not only saves costs, but also time, energy and, above all, resources. Thanks to the high precision and near-net-shape production, waste is reduced, which contributes to more sustainable production overall.
